I moved from upstate New York in 1972 to go to Fort Lewis College 
and obtained a degree with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology. Of course back then we created our class schedule around our skiing which took priority, of course. I was a ski instructor at Purgatory for a few years while finishing up my time at Fort Lewis. The year after I graduated I got by real estate license with Realty World Narrow Gauge Realty, and put my first three years in there until I moved to Century 21 Caver Real Estate in 1980. I stayed with Century 21 until 2012, when I joined Keller Williams SW Associates until recently I decided to become my own independent broker and created Durango Property Search Inc.
I have never really specialized in any particular niche of real estate, but have become well versed in all aspects of the business. Aside from the everyday residential sales of starter homes to high end luxury homes, I enjoy finding that perfect location for my clients to build their dream house, whether it be a small lot in town, a few acres in the country or a ranch type property of 40 – 640 acres. I have traveled a lot of our state in search of the right ranch property for my clients with special needs, whether it be a prime riverfront or mountain property or a farm and ranch property for a home for their cows or horses. There has been no job too large.
I have always prided myself with my knowledge of construction practices, excavation needs, and smart home design needs as well. Knowing our area well after living here since 1972 and finding that perfect fit for my client, is what I do best! So whether it be your first home, a lot you’d like to find in the country for your retirement home down the road, or maybe that golf property or ski resort vacation home, they are all at my fingertips!
